The Elect Business System

The Elect system from Bawtry Computer Services is used in the automotive, hotel, wholesale and retail sectors. The Elect system is implemented through text-based console screens on Unix or Linux. This is an established and stable product developed through use since 1978. The Elect System is composed of the following modules:

• Workshop management: Full job history including labour, parts and material costs, narrative, manual adjustment of charges, and allocation to sales ledger accounts.
• Financial Accounting: Purchase ledger, sales ledger and nominal (general) ledger. All ledgers are capable of interfacing with nominal ledger.
• Stores Management: Sales order processing, purchase order processing, stock control, back order system, bin cards and point-of-sale console.
• Fleet Vehicle Management: Full vehicle history including purchase, running costs, hire and sale.
